Our new innovative product: a portable plant dryer

Core product of the cooperation project is development of a portable plug-and-play dryer for herb plants equipped in a special container which can be used anywhere in an environmentally friendly way. The product is the result of joint development, where our Hungarian partner, Barcs Metál Kft. produces a container to make the product portable, and our company, Herbas d.o.o. the inner part – the dryer.

The newly developed and produced product has the following components:

– Electricity supply of the product is based on thermal generator operating on biomass fuel, which is renewable energy source. Mixer, electricity generator are identical to the available Herbas products.

– Drying is done by warm air supply.

– Portability is ensured by a specially developed container developed by our Hungarian partner, Barcs Metál Kft.

– Floor – for easy emptying and filling – is made mobile as well.

– Between the drying chamber and the space for thermal generator is a dividing wall, with air circulation opening and air distributors. The dividing wall is also produced by Barcs Metál.

– In order to reach equally drying of the processing material, on the front side of the drying chamber, on the door opener, there is leveller to control the height of the processing material inside the dryer.
