The overhead conveyor system facilitates the manipulation of parts being processed in painting and coating plants.
The process in the plant consists of four phases:
- preparation for painting/coating,
- electrostatic powder painting,
- polymerization of the coating layers and
- cooling.
The operator can independently handle multiple heavy parts suspended from an overhead rail-mounted support. Handling is performed by pulling and pushing the support via handles, while the parts suspended on the beams are moved using a hook rod. The beams are supported on rollers and can be moved in and out, allowing the suspended parts to be repositioned to different locations within the facility.
The parts are transferred from the painting room to the oven, and then from the oven to the cooling area. The movable support is equipped with a device for precise positioning and alignment of the rails, as well as for preventing movement of the support during the transfer of parts into the painting room, the oven, or onto the cooling racks.
There is a system that prevents the support from jamming between two rails and ensures uniform pulling of the frame. The entire system is simple and easy to operate. The process can also be automated according to the customer’s requirements.
The oven and the painting booth shown in the video are not products of HERBAS. HERBAS can offer its own polymerization oven and electrostatic powder coating booth.
