Washing machine for pumpkin seeds type HPBK50/270 is designed for washing of seeds after harvest and before drying, in order to remove ‘slime’ and impurities from the seeds.
Seeds are, via screw dozer, dosed in a rotating cylinder made from perforated sheet metal. During the rotation of the cylinder, the pumpkin seeds are washed with high pressure water jet. The cylinder is inclined. On the back of the cylinder is mounted a brush that cleans the perforated cylinder out of stuck seeds.
For better cleaning of seeds, separating impurities and removing surface moisture, on the last part of the rotating drum can be installed suction diffuser for connection to the turbo fan (optional).
